Progressive Long Distance promised me to save money. I was paying $35/line for 2 lines with all the calling features I needed plus an additional $5 for Voicemail. So it was $75/month plus taxes etc. They told me I would pay $30/month with all features included. So I switched. Then I got my first bill for $197. They told me that I had been promised $40.50/line, plus $5/feature (caller id, forwarding, three way, call waiting) and $13 for voicemail. So $73/line. I NEVER would have agreed to this. Who would? I called to complain and they denied ever quoting me that price. The conversation was taped, but to hear the tape I would first have to pay the full amount??? They offered to discount me 30% and discontinue my service, which I accepted just to be done with them.
Don't switch to Progressive Long Distance. I have filed complaints with the FCC and the Better Business Bureau. They suck.
